The Classification of Toroidal Transformers
As a electronic transformer, toroidal transformers are widely used in household equipment & other high technical electronic equipment. The Classification of toroidal transformers including standard type, economic type, isolated type, etc.:
Capacity 8~1500VA , small voltage adjustment rate, full loading operation with temperature rise 40°C, perfect for high electronic demand application. The primary & secondary are insulated by class B (130°C) polyester film, request at least three layers of insulating tape to withstand AC 4000V, 1min withstand voltage test.
Capacity 50~1500VA, ensuring performance first and then reduce cost as much as possible. This type transformer is suitable for continuous operation without overloading, with operating temperature rise 60°C. The primary & secondary are insulated by class A (105°C) material. While output voltage at full load, the error request <3%.
Capacity 50~1000VA, including industrial isolated transformer & medical isolated transformer. The most points of isolated transformer is insulation performance. The primary & secondary are insulated by class B (130°C) polyester film, request at least four layers of insulating tape. And the breakdown voltage is >4000V. All primary leads request double insulated wires, Max. temperature rise is <45°C.
Except above requirements, medical isolation transformers must meet UL544 standard, that is, the primary & secondary winding must have thermal protection, and the distance between the winding & grounded cooper shield should >13mm.
Coilcore focus on products R&D, so far we have formed a considerable scale of design & production, which mainly used for audio equipment and automatic control equipment.
